It was a rainy day out at First Generation Farmers earlier this May. Ms. Ostlund’s 4th grade class from First Generation Farmers got their hands dirty learning how to compost, feed chickens and ducks, play with goats and plant their own seed to take home! From there, they went on a behind the scenes tour of Raley’s. They learned about how Raley’s composts, how produce goes from the farm to the store and got a tasty lunch at the end! Thank you to First Generation Farmers and Raley’s for making these trips possible!
