Raley’s Field Trips on the Farm – Ms. Agpalo

It was a beautiful crisp day for Ms. Agpalo’s class from Garin Elementary to take a field trip to First Generation Farmers. The excitement roaring from the bus said it all when they arrived and saw all the free range chickens running around. The excitement continued when the kids were taught about goats, composting and viticulture! From there, the students got to meet store manager, Noe of the Brentwood Raley’s for a behind the scenes tour of the store! They learned all about organic produce, recycling and even more about composting! Thank you to Raley’s and First Generation Farmers for making these field trips possible!
