Ingredients:
2 C milk
3/4 C sugar
1 envelope (1 tbls) unflavored gelatin
2 C sliced fresh CA peaches
1/2 C orange juice
2 tbls lemon juice
Dash salt
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and gelatin. Stir over low heat until sugar and gelatin are dissolved. Whirl milk mixture with all remaining ingredients in blender until pureed. Turn into 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Freeze until outer edge of mixture is solid but center is still mushy. Turn sherbet into mixing bowl and beat until smooth and fluffy; return to freezer and freeze until firm (about 3-4 hours).
Make about 1 quart
