Ulm Farms, Inc. is a multi-generational farming operation located just outside Modesto in Stanislaus County. These 151 acres of prime farmland produce almonds, walnuts and wine grapes. The land was first purchased in 1945, moving the family from Orange County in search of a better life. Bill and Tom Ulm decided to place an agricultural conservation easement on the property to keep the land in farming for future generations. It was permanently protected in 2011.
